# WellSaid

WellSaid is a text-to-speech provider you can use for your voice agent's voice. Connect WellSaid to use its voices on a Vapi assistant. This page covers what WellSaid is and how to select a voice.

## What is WellSaid

WellSaid Labs is a text-to-speech provider that produces studio-quality synthetic voices. On Vapi, you select a WellSaid voice for an assistant.

You can use WellSaid through Vapi's default integration, or use your own WellSaid account by connecting it in [Integrations](/providers/integrations).

## Text-to-speech

Set `voice.provider` to `wellsaid`, `voice.model` to a WellSaid model (`caruso` or `legacy`), and `voice.voiceId` to a voice. WellSaid offers many voices, you can browse and copy a voice's ID from the [Voice Library](/providers/voice/overview).

## Supported languages

WellSaid Labs text-to-speech has no separate language setting. Language is determined by the selected voice. Browse voices in the [Voice Library](/providers/voice/overview).
